Freshman Application Workshop
Ready to apply to UB? Learn what applications UB accepts, what materials are needed to complete your application, what will make your application stand out, how to write a good college essay and more. This workshop will also provide information on important deadlines and who to contact when help is needed.

Freshman Parent Application Workshop
As your student prepares to search for and apply to colleges, it’s normal to have questions. We have answers! This workshop will help you understand your role in your student’s college search process, along with tips and helpful information on when and how to support your student. The college application process can be a stressful time for students and their parents. We’re here to answer your questions and help eliminate some of that stress.
Offered twice monthly on Tuesdays starting Sept. 22.
University Honors College Application Workshop
The University Honors College at UB is a diverse learning community of high-achieving students who crave challenges and seek opportunities to express their intellectual curiosity. Join us to learn more about this distinguished community, how to apply to the Honors College and how to write an essay that will stand out. Deadlines and additional important information will also be covered.

Financial Aid Application Workshop
Financial aid is an important topic for anyone starting the college search process. Join us for an informative workshop on important financial aid topics, including how to apply for financial aid at UB, the types of aid available, eligibility, financial aid applications and where to find them, deadlines, and what tax materials are needed. This workshop will also provide a discussion about financial literacy, finding and applying for additional scholarships, and what it really means to use federal and state loans to pay for college.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Application Workshop
UB’s Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides access to higher education and a means of academic support for eligible students. This workshop will cover EOP eligibility requirements and the benefits of joining our EOP community, as well as important topics like how to complete an EOP application, the associated financial paperwork, important deadlines and the overall EOP application process.

Transfer Admissions Application Workshop
UB is a top transfer destination in New York. If you’re considering UB for the next chapter in your story, join us to learn what applications you can use to apply, what you need to complete your application and how your credits may transfer. Architecture Information Sessions for Prospective Undergraduate Students
Are you a high school student who is interested in the School of Architecture and Planning undergraduate program experience? Attend a virtual information session with the school via Webex with Greg Delaney, Director–Recruitment and First-Year Experience.
High school, transfer and second bachelor’s degree students are encouraged to attend a 90-minute virtual information session. The session will cover a program overview, the application process and more.
Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences
These 30-minute appointments give you an opportunity to ask about programs offered within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, discuss the admissions process and help you prepare your application.
School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
High school and transfer students are encouraged to attend a virtual information session. The presentation will included information about academic programs, popular experiential learning and academic support options, and admissions information. A student-led panel will also allow for interaction with current SEAS students.
School of Management
Whether you are joining UB as an incoming freshman or transfer student, join us for this virtual event. Our incoming School of Management undergraduate class has so much to look forward to; attend this webinar to learn more about next steps in the enrollment process, curriculum, services and more. University Honors College
High school students interested in the University at Buffalo’s Honors College are invited to register for a 30-minute Honors College Information Session and Q&A. This virtual information session will cover the admissions process and provide an overview of the Honors College experience and campus life.
