Buffalo is UB’s beloved hometown. With three campuses in Western New York, UB has a large presence and deep roots in our region. Students have easy access to downtown from our campuses, and there’s always something to explore: arts, music, sports, food, history, a beautiful waterfront and more.

As New York’s second largest city, Buffalo offers fantastic culture, eclectic neighborhoods and memorable people. By bus, train, car or air, you’re less than 90 minutes from cities like New York, Toronto, D.C. and Philly, and Niagara Falls is just 20 minutes from campus.

Buffalo is also the place to be if you’re looking for meaningful internship and job opportunities. UB has connections to prominent companies in our region who are looking to hire UB students, as well as an important presence in our city’s startup culture.
