Secure your seat.
Students accepted for the fall semester must submit their $150 enrollment/tuition deposit on or before May 1 or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Students accepted for the spring semester must submit their deposit between Sept. 15 and no later than Dec. 1 or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Special instructions for EOP students.
Reserve your on-campus housing.
Accepted students may apply for on-campus housing by submitting a housing application, including the $300 housing deposit. Please visit the Campus Living website for important next steps and deadline information.
Apply for financial aid.
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is not required but is strongly encouraged. UB’s federal school code is 002837. From the FAFSA confirmation page, New York State residents should follow the link to the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. UB’s TAP code is 1010.
Register for orientation.
To register for orientation, you must complete the Orientation Data Form. The Office of Orientation, Transition and Parent Programs will notify you when the Orientation Data Form becomes available. Visit the Orientation website to view your next steps.
Send us your immunization records.
UB and NYS require that all students provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella, as well as meet the requirements for meningitis. Review step 2 on the Student Health Services website for more information.
