The University at Buffalo is opening its doors in a big way — and you’re invited. We have a number of exciting campus visit opportunities that will give you a firsthand look at one of the nation’s leading public research universities. Choose the event that fits with your schedule and see why so many talented students like you have chosen UB.
Join us for a Visit UB program and find out about our academic programs, facilities, and student life, and see just what life in the UB community is like. You’ll attend an information session to learn about applying to UB, living on campus, financial aid, scholarships and more. And, you’ll get to take a general walking tour of our North Campus, led by a student tour guide.
Visit UB is offered year-round and on selected Saturdays during the academic year.
Individual information sessions are available on a limited basis. These sessions, offered on select weekdays, are for obtaining general information about UB and the application process. No guided tours will be available, but you are encouraged to explore campus on your own by taking our self-guided walking tour. Check our visitation calendar for available dates and times. If you are unable to find a session that fits your schedule, please call our reception desk at 716-645-6735, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We offer guided general walking tours of the North Campus on select mornings. The tour will include stops at classrooms, libraries, recreation and athletic complexes and more. Tours depart from Capen Hall at 10 a.m., and Admissions advisors will be available to meet with visitors individually prior to and at completion of the tour. If you are a member of a special group or organization and would like to arrange a group visit to campus, Undergraduate Admissions can help you organize a special group visit to the University at Buffalo North Campus. To arrange a group visit, please schedule your group at least two weeks prior to the requested visit date.
Just visit our online registration calendar and click on the date that’s best for you. When you do, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing important information about your visit. If you’d prefer to make a reservation over the phone, call us toll free at 1-888-UB-ADMIT.
During your campus visit, you may also wish to tour a specific academic area. UB’s School of Architecture and Planning has a schedule of tour dates, and our School of Engineering and Applied Sciences offers a number of official information sessions and tours. Interested students can also set up an appointment with the University Honors College. To arrange a tour of any of our other academic departments, contact the individual department directly.
