Steps to Enroll
Secure your seat.
Students accepted for the fall semester must submit their $150 tuition deposit on or before May 1 or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Students accepted for the spring semester must submit their deposit between Aug. 1 and no later than Dec. 1 or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Reserve your on-campus housing.
Fall 2021 accepted students looking to apply for on-campus housing at UB may do so by submitting a housing application, including the $300 housing deposit, beginning on Feb. 15. Housing and tuition deposits (for new fall applicants only) are required to reserve on-campus housing. The on-campus housing application deadline for new students has been extended and will remain open as long as spaces are available.
Spring 2022 accepted students looking to apply for on-campus housing at UB may do so beginning Oct. 1.
File for financial aid.
If you haven’t already, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. UB’s federal school code is 002837. When finished, New York State residents should also complete the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. UB’s TAP code is 1010.
Register for orientation.
To register for orientation, you must complete the Orientation Data Form. The Office of Orientation, Transition and Parent Programs will notify you when the Orientation Data Form becomes available. Visit the Orientation website to view your next steps.
Send us your immunization records.
UB and New York State require that all students provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella. Please see step 2 on the Student Health Services website for more information.
