Health and Human Services Minor
*Not a baccalaureate degree program
The minor in Health and Human Services is designed to introduce students to the systems delivering human services to individuals and communities in need, the issues and problems affecting those individuals and communities, and the professions and professionals providing services. The minor draws on a wide range of courses that address broad themes in community mental health, child and family studies, and social gerontology, as well as the structure and roles associated with human services organizations. The Health and Human Services minor is an excellent complement to a number of undergraduate majors at UB, including Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Anthropology, Management, Nursing, and Speech and Hearing Science.
