Business Administration BS - Data Analytics Concentration
All academic programs of the UB School of Management are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This prestigious accreditation is considered to be the hallmark of management education.
- Of more than 16,000 business schools worldwide, less than 5% are accredited by AACSB International
- Most B-school rankings start with AACSB-accredited schools, yet typically only 20-25% of those schools make the final rankings.
- The UB School of Management is ranked in all the major rankings — Bloomberg, Businessweek, Forbes, U.S. News & World Report-usually in the top 10% of this elite group.
Our programs provide you with an educational experience that offers both quality and value. We emphasize broad exposure to quantitative reasoning, social sciences, soft skills, and a general management education required to compete in today's global market.
The Data Analytics concentration will arm students with a high demand skill set – the ability to analyze, manipulate, and draw inferences from large data sets. This rising discipline requires practitioners with know-how that cuts across core business disciplines and well-developed critical thinking and communication skills, which are deeply informed by context. The Data Analytics concentration must be coupled with a primary concentration within the major. Students receive both the theoretical and practical knowledge essential to applying advanced business data analytics methods and models to a diverse set of business topics and challenges across functional concentrations in our program (Finance, HR, MIS, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain). The Data Analytics concentration paired with a primary concentration will provide students with a frame of reference by which to analyze the data.Undergraduate Degree & Course Catalog - Business Administration BS - Data Analytics Concentration
