Traveling to UB
By Car: From I-90 (New York State Thruway), approaching Buffalo from either the east or the west, take I-290 west to I-990. The University at Buffalo North Campus is the first exit ("State University") from I-990. For more detailed driving directions, see Directions and Maps.
By Air: Air service to Buffalo is provided by most major airlines. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is only 20 minutes from UB.
By Train: service to Buffalo is available from the east or west on Amtrak.
By Bus: Bus service to Buffalo is provided by Greyhound and Trailways. Free bus service is also provided between UB's north and south campuses.
Public Transportation: The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority offers bus service throughout the region, as well as a rapid transit system connecting UB's South Campus with downtown Buffalo.
