Several special events take place on the UB North Campus: Fall Open House, Spring Open House, Fall and Spring Discovery Days, and Visit UB. But to experience all of UB, you may want to visit the South Campus as well. Interactive Google maps are available for you to explore the region, find accommodations and plan your trips.
Before you come, download these high-resolution, maps of North Campus (PDF) and South Campus (PDF). The maps will assist you in finding parking and handicap access points, as well as identify key buildings.

Just enter “Flint Entrance, Amherst, NY 14260” for the destination location to get directions to the main entrance of the North Campus.
Take I-90 East until you reach I-290 (past the Buffalo airport exit). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
Take I-90 West until you reach I-290 (just past tolls, follow State University signs). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
Take I-79 North until you get to Erie, PA. Take I-90 East until you reach I-290 (past the Buffalo airport exit). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Take Queen Elizabeth Way to the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge. Once across bridge get on I-190 South. Follow I-190 South until you reach I-290 East and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
From the Peace Bridge, take I-190 North to I-290 East and follow same directions.
Just enter “3455 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14214” for the destination location to get directions to the South Campus.
Take I-90 northeast towards Erie, PA. Follow I-90 through Pennsylvania. Continue on I-90 northeast in New York (portions are a toll road) to I-290 West. Proceed west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Travel west about 3 miles on Main Street to Bailey Avenue (Route 62). Turn left on Bailey, then right on Michael Road into UB.
Take I-490 southwest to I-90 West. Take I-90 (portions are toll road) to I-290 West. Go west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Proceed about 3 miles to Bailey Ave. (Route 62). Turn left on to Bailey and right on to Michael Road, into UB.
Take I-579 northwest to I-279. Go northwest on I-279 to I-79 North. Continue on I-79 North to I-90. Go northeast on I-90 to New York and continue on I-90 (portions are toll road) to I-290. Go west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Proceed about 3 miles to Bailey Ave. (Route 62). Turn left on to Bailey and right on to Michael Road, into UB.
Take Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) southeast out of Toronto toward Hamilton. Continue on the QEW past St. Catharines. Follow Highway 405 to the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge and continue east over the bridge (toll) into New York state. Once in New York, you are on I-190. Stay on I-190, through Grand Island, until you get to I-290. Take I-290 exit east. Stay on I-290 and take Exit 5A (Millersport Highway) South (Route 263). Turn right on to Michael Road, into UB.
