Will Your Credits Transfer?

UB accepts all college-level credits from regionally accredited two- or four-year degree-granting institutions.

“My academic advisor has been so helpful. I always made sure to make an appointment with my counselor in the beginning of each semester to make sure I was on track. I would email him questions and concerns when I wasn’t able to meet him, and he was kind enough to get back to me very quickly.” ~ Farza Khan, Psychology

You can check how your courses match UB’s courses and requirements on TAURUS, UB’s course articulation website. Your credits must be sent to UB on an official transcript from each institution you have attended. Instructions are available here: How to Request an Official Transcript.

UB also grants credit for a number of alternative forms of credit, according to the policies described in UB’s Undergraduate Catalog. These alternative forms of credit are not considered at the time of admission. They are added to a student’s record after starting courses at UB. You must submit an official score report to have your alternative credit evaluated. Instructions are available here: How to Request Official Score Reports for Exam Credit.
