Step 3: Accept Your Offer of Admission
If accepted to UB, you will receive an offer of admission along with a packet of important forms and information. To accept your offer of admission, you must submit your tuition deposit.
Reserve your spot at UB.
In order to reserve your place in the transfer class, submit your $150 tuition deposit online. You have until May 1 if enrolling for the fall semester and until Dec. 1 if enrolling for the spring semester. After these dates, admission is on a space-available basis. If you receive your offer of admission after those dates, you must signify your intention to enroll, by mail or online, within 10 days of your acceptance.
You will either pre-register with an academic advisor via phone or register at an orientation session. In either case, you will attend a transfer student orientation to become familiar with UB practices and finalize your schedule.
Reserve a room on campus.
If you plan to live on campus, you must pay your $300 housing deposit and complete the online Residence Hall Application. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of your tuition deposit, housing deposit and residence hall application. Assignments will be made once all components have been completed using the date of the last-received item. Deposits must be received by May 1 if enrolling for the fall semester and Dec. 1 if enrolling for the spring semester.
Transfer students who finished high school two or more years ago are eligible for apartment consideration. Contact University Campus Living at 716-645-2171 or firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire if space is available.

Special note for EOP students
EOP students do not have to pay tuition or housing deposits. However, you must fill out the paper versions of the enrollment and housing forms (if you plan to live on campus) that were sent with your acceptance letter. Visit the special instructions for EOP students page on the Accepted Students website for more information.
