Accept Your Offer of Admission
If you are accepted to UB, you will receive an offer of admission along with a packet of important forms and information. To accept your offer of admission, you must submit your tuition deposit. This is how we know that you intend to enroll at UB.
-
Reserve your place at UB
In order to reserve your place in the transfer class, you must complete and return your Intent to Enroll Card with a $150.00 tuition deposit. You are encouraged to complete your enrollment form and pay your deposit online. Or you may fill out and return the card included with your acceptance packet in the envelope provided. You have until May 1 if enrolling for the fall semester and until December 1 if enrolling for the spring semester. If you receive your offer of admission after those dates, you must signify your intention to enroll, by mail or online, within 10 days of your acceptance.
Once your tuition deposit is received, a UB representative will contact you and the registration process will begin. Remember that space is limited. To ensure placement in the classes of your choice, submit your tuition deposit as early as possible.
-
Reserve a room on campus
If you plan to live on campus, you must pay your $200.00 housing deposit and complete the online Residence Hall Application. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of your tuition deposit, housing deposit, and residence hall application. Assignments will be made once all components have been completed, using the date of the last received item. Deposits must be received by May 1 if enrolling for the fall semester and December 1 if enrolling for the spring semester.
Transfer students must have at least 60 completed credit hours to be eligible for apartment consideration. Contact University Residence Halls & Apartments at (716) 645-2171 or ub-apts@buffalo.edu to inquire if space is available.
For more new student information, log on to our Accepted Student page.
Special Note for EOP Students:
EOP students do not have to pay the tuition and housing deposits. However they must fill out the paper versions of the enrollment and housing forms (if they plan to live on campus) that were sent with their acceptance letter. More information on EOP.
