For Kathleen, a bustling intersection like this one in downtown Buffalo reminds her why she chose to complement her major in business administration with another major in sociology. She knows that understanding business has to start with understanding people and their day-to-day interactions. "I love the sociological perspective and the way it looks at the world, it helps you understand why people do the things they do."

When she's not studying Kathleen loves sampling the diverse cuisine of area restaurants and spending time on UB's north campus. "There are so many people to meet and so many different things to experience and be a part of."
