I am originally from the Buffalo area and returned to Western New York after graduating from Valparaiso University (Indiana) with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/management and a minor in classic literature.
Melding my passion for administration with the energy found on college campuses, I went on to earn a master’s degree (EdM) in higher education administration from UB. Through several internships, I was exposed to a wide variety of departments and activities at the university. These opportunities fueled my interest in helping students experience a seamless transition into college, leading me to pursue a career in Admissions.
Despite what you may have heard about Buffalo, it does not snow all year round! While we enjoy winter sports such as skiing, sledding, and skating, I personally enjoy many other activities throughout the year. Some of my favorite activities include boating, sailing and jet skiing on beautiful Lake Erie with my friends. When I’m not on the water, you can often find me cycling along any number of well-groomed bike trails including the UB Bike Path (3 miles long) or the Amherst Canalway Trail (5.7 miles long).
Please plan to visit us and experience for yourself all of the culture, diversity and opportunities that await you at the University at Buffalo and the surrounding communities.
I wish you luck as you embark on your college search! If you have any questions or wish to learn more about UB, please feel free to contact me.
