After receiving a BA and MS from Canisius College, I was excited to join the University at Buffalo community. I’ve worked in the Office of Admissions since 2003 and really enjoy my role as assistant director. My primary responsibility is to supervise our Student Recruiter Unit, which includes our UB STARS, Tour Guides and TeleTeam members. If you ever have any student-related questions, our students are more than happy to assist you.
I also work directly with our Visit UB program, and if you haven’t been to campus yet, I encourage you to come for a visit. Visiting UB is a great way for you to experience the atmosphere, meet current students, faculty, and staff, and see if we’re a good fit for you. We also offer you the opportunity to sit in on a class if you visit during the fall or spring semester on a weekday.
There is so much to see and do at UB and in Buffalo. Some of my favorite things include shopping on the Elmwood strip; grabbing a bite to eat at one of our local restaurants; catching a Broadway show at Shea’s Performing Arts Center; and of course cheering on the Bills, Sabres, and UB Bulls. Hopefully you can come and experience Buffalo soon!
