I joined the UB staff in August 2007 after obtaining a B.A. & B.S. from Niagara University and an M.S. from Canisius College. As a graduate student, I interned in the Intercultural and Diversity Center at UB, advising student groups and planning events on campus. I fell in love with the UB culture and the passion students have for their interests.
One of the best aspects of my job is that I can travel around the country. As a history buff, I enjoy traveling to places where history happened. In my annual trip to Europe, I seek out sites of historical events and try to get away from the tourist scene by finding where the locals hang out.
When I am not traveling, I enjoy going for a run in Delaware Park and eating out with friends at one of the city’s many family-owned restaurants (Buffalo really does have the best wings!). Some days while running along Niagara Falls, I stop and think “Wow, this is really where I live.” Although I am originally from Rochester, N.Y., UB and Buffalo have become my adopted homes, and I am very happy to be a part of both.
