I graduated from Niagara University with a B.A. in psychology and sociology and a minor in social sciences. I also received an M.S. in student personnel administration from Buffalo State College. As a graduate student, I interned in the Intercultural and Diversity Center at UB, where I assisted in the programming and facilitation of office events and co-facilitated the UBE 496 Diversity Advocates class. During my internship, I fell in love with UB’s commitment to diversity and global perspectives.
I am also excited about UB2020 and the commitment UB has made in the revitalization of my hometown. I am a lifelong resident of Buffalo, and I love the active role UB has taken to ensure that Western New York remains a thriving place to live and work.
In my free time I enjoy traveling the world! I have traveled to many cities, both domestic and international and I love hearing stories from the people I meet when I travel abroad. I also love studying genealogy and ethnology and playing volleyball. When I’m not doing those things, you might find me rollerblading around WNY with my dog, Kieli.
