Welcome to Award-Winning Dining

Dining is an integral part of campus life, and here at UB, we have created a living and learning atmosphere where your experiences will last a lifetime.

Innovative cuisine, fresh flavors and great values are abundant. We strive to provide a wide variety of menu options with quality food and services, accentuating and enhancing your experience in a diverse, global community. We have an outstanding, award-winning residential dining program, featuring three residential dining centers that serve all-you-care-to-eat breakfasts and dinners. In addition to the tremendous variety of food available every day, our innovative culinary team holds special events and theme meals throughout the year, offering exciting new dining experiences.

We also offer many of the brands you love, including Jamba Juice, Tim Horton’s and Moe’s Southwest Grill, along with many of our own concepts that are campus favorites. In fact, there are over 30 locations on campus where you can use your meal plan, Dining Dollars or Campus Cash. From pizza to sushi, pasta to deli favorites, there’s food to satisfy every taste. We even have our own food truck, Big Blue, along with an online ordering program to have pizza, wings and subs delivered right to your room.

UB offers several meal plans for both on- and off-campus students – providing freedom, flexibility and great savings. Your UB Card holds your meal plan and Dining Dollars (tax-free declining balance account) for all your food and beverage purchases – even the vending machines. Campus Cash is an optional taxable debit account that can also be used on your UB Card to make purchases both on- and off-campus, including at the bookstore.

Using freshly prepared ingredients, buying local, offering global cuisine and serving foods that not only look good, but are good for you … these are just a few of the ways we have earned the No. 1 dining services ranking for SUNY University Centers.
