When you want to meet people and get involved in the UB community there are so many choices of things to do that you could have a hard time deciding!

UB's rich cultural life is undeniable. There are clubs for every interest, from outdoor adventure to human rights, skiing to academics.

UB's Got Game

Whether you want to compete, stay in shape, or root for the home team, UB has the teams, equipment, and facilities to meet your sporting needs. Twenty men's and women's NCAA Division I teams bring on the excitement, and intramural and club sports in everything from basketball to badminton provide opportunities for friendly competition and fun.

Our extensive sports programs are supported by top-notch facilities like racquetball, squash, and tennis courts, swimming pools, state-of-the-art exercise and weight-training rooms, indoor and outdoor tracks, basketball courts, and several playing fields.

Expand Your Cultural Path

If it's culture you crave, the UB Center for the Arts features art exhibits, music, theater, dance, and film. The Student Association also sponsors a film series during the fall and spring semesters.

For Shopaholics

You can get almost anything you need right on campus. The Commons, UB's mini-mall on the North Campus, has restaurants, a drug store, a mini-grocery mart, a travel agent, the UBMicro computer store, and more. The University bookstore, which includes a post office, is adjacent to the Commons. More restaurants, supermarkets, movie theaters, and shopping malls are conveniently located off campus.
