The time you spend hanging out and unwinding with your friends is as important to your undergraduate experience as the time you spend in class.
When you want to meet people and get involved in the UB community there are so many choices of things to do that you could have a hard time deciding!
UB’s rich cultural life is undeniable. There are clubs for every interest, from outdoor adventure to human rights, skiing to academics.
If it’s culture you crave, the UB Center for the Arts features art exhibits, music, theater, dance, and film. The Student Association also sponsors a film series during the fall and spring semesters.
You can get almost anything you need right on campus. The Commons, UB’s mini-mall on the North Campus, has restaurants, a drug store, a mini-grocery mart, a travel agent, the UBMicro computer store, and more. The University bookstore, which includes a post office, is adjacent to the Commons. More restaurants, supermarkets, movie theaters, and shopping malls are conveniently located off campus.
