Steps to Enroll
Secure your spot in the class of 2021.
Students accepted for the fall 2017 semester must submit their $150 tuition deposit before May 1, 2017, or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Students accepted for the spring 2018 semester must submit their deposit before Dec. 1, 2017, or 10 days after their acceptance, whichever is later. Learn how to make your tuition deposit.
Reserve your on-campus housing.
If you plan to live on campus, your $300 housing deposit is due no later than May 1 (fall semester) or Dec. 1 (spring semester). Housing and tuition deposits are required to reserve on-campus housing. Assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, using your deposit date. Learn how to make your housing deposit.
NOTE: The May 1 deadline to apply for residence hall housing has been extended to offer all new students the opportunity to experience on-campus living. This offer is available for a limited time only so apply today as space is going fast.
File for financial aid.
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. UB’s federal school code is 002837. When finished, New York State residents should also complete the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. UB’s TAP code is 1010.
Register for orientation.
You’ll receive information about registering for orientation after submitting your tuition deposit. Visit the Orientation website to view your next steps.
Send us your immunization records.
UB and New York State require that all students provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella. Please visit the Student Health Services website for more information.
